| As some of you know, I have a broken KWA M4, that I have been planning on sending into KWA to be worked on. I have come across a decision that I need help with.
I can do one of the following: Have them rearwire it for $20 Buy a Magpul CTR stock for about the same Buy a Magpul ACS stock for about the same Buy a Magpul UBR stock for about double
Right now it has a magpul foregrip, and flip up sights, though I may replace the foregrip with a free floating RIS

| I've decided to rearwire now that I've learned that I can throw a 7.4 in a stock, so the new question is which stock should I get? | |

| Well they are all 5 position, they just have different looks to them. The CTR is like a skeletal version of an LE stock The ACS is like a saddle stock And the UBR is like a SCAR or ACR stock, where it is as solid as a full stock, but extends
I'll go ahead and admit, I'm not a fan of the ACS, so unless EVERYONE chooses that, I'll probably go with the next option

| I think I like the ubr best it's a little more expensive but the overall look of it is awesome. | |

| I just got off the phone with one of my friends in southern FL, they have been playing with Lipos alot down there, and found out that you HAVE to have a mosfet with any lipo, or it destroys your gun in no time flat, So I'll probably just get an ACS stock. | |

| hes right for the most part... if u run a 7.4 lipo, you dont really need one, just as long as u have a high amp fuse u should be alright... NEVER RUN A 11.1V. u will destroy ur gun no mater what. | |

| A Lipo will automatically discharge at 20C, vs a nimh which discharges at a rate equivalent to its V value. So even on a 7.4 you will ruin a gun without a mosfet. and they have even ruined a few with mosfets. The bottom line is that it will not work | |

| Its like an advanced fuse. Like a chip instead of the normal fuse, to better prevent damage. | |

| After some research I have found that none of the magpul stocks hold batterys, meaning this thread is no longer valid | |

| In my own opinion I don't think lipid are honestly worth the trouble. True, you get monster rate of fire but there are far too many risks involved I'll just play it safe with my nimhs haha. | |
